Yoga practice is suitable for all ages, lifestyles and abilities; it can be supportive throughout life and various asanas (postures) can alleviate and improve a wide variety of health problems and stress-related issues.

Jan has a regular programme of weekly yoga classes in Devon. Currently these consist of:-

  • Monday 3 p.m. to 4.30 p.m.  Manaton village hall
  • Thursday. – 9.30 to 11.00a.m.  Chudleigh Town Hall

These classes are open to everyone – all ages and abilities.  Please contact Jan for further details

In addition Jan runs week-end residential yoga courses.  No previous experience of yoga is necessary; so this can either be an introduction for you or an opportunity to develop your existing practice. Tuition will be given on yoga postures (asanas), breathing methods and relaxation techniques. There will be discussions on how yoga can improve and maintain health. The next scheduled week-end is planned for 28th and 29th October 2017 at “Splatthayes“, near Honiton.  Contact Jan for details.

Jan has written a yoga book entitled “Vintage Yoga”. This has photographs and illustrations showing asanas (postures), it outlines breathing and relaxation techniques and explains how to plan a yoga session at home.
